i spent 150 dollors on this chi straightener.

i got it from target.

i have wavy hair, and everytime i straighten my hair, it wont stop sticking up.

do you think i should return it? i mean my 20 dollor strighter worked better!

wtf!!!! a chi works way better!!! ya a 20dollar one sucks!! i ahve one and i ahve a chi....maybe try using some starightning spray before using it.

well my chi was amazing i think you should exchange it becaue there could be a problem with it and if it doesnt work out the second time than return it and get ur money back

If it doesn't work, and then cheap one was working for you, why is there even a question? Unless you "have" to have the fancy name brand, how is this possibly worth the cost to you?

One thing, Target isn't even supposed to be selling that brand of Iron those straighteners are salon only, and two you need to use some anti-frizz stuff.

Is it a knock off? Usually you have to go through a salon for a Chi. As for your hair sticking up you could try some Biosilk. It only takes a little bit and it makes your hair shiny. My Chi is awesome and it beats any other straightener i've used.

Yes. My 20 dollar straightener worked better than a CHI too. I don't see what the hype is. It's just because it was the first ceramic or something. I say return it. The quality depends on your hair, and the CHI isn't great for everyone.

I would return it if you are not happy. I love the sedu one a lot better then the chi.

I have a chi and it works great so maybe there is something wrong with yours, if so exchange it. Also you can use john frieda smoothing serum which makes your hair silky and smooth and prevents your hair from getting staticky. I got mine from target. There is also cheaper (i think its like $3) smoothing hair spray from the brand sunsilk which works well and keeps your hair safe from the heat of the straightener.

instead of using it on your hair going straight down curve it a bit so the loose hairs go back in place

if your 20 dollar one worked better than ur 150 then why wouldn't you take it back. it's like your spending 130 dollars more for some that works way worse.

And if you want a Chi I think you should get it from somewhere else because at JCPenney I saw them selling it for about 120.
