What do you all think I suggest I do to make my hair straight, but NOT flat? I have a Chi straightener that I use but it seems like whenever I straighten it, it gets straight, but it gets flat and volume-less.
So how can I get my hair to be straight AND have some oomph? I don't put any products in my hair before I straighten it...should I? Help please!

You defffff need products, but remember not to straighten it too much, you realllllly destroy your hair --- trust me. If you do it less, also, you will get it straighter each time you do it. First, put a soft like conditioner thing in your hair. I usually only use 1 product. Use a Wet to Straight iron if you can get your hands on one, there great. Anyway, start in the front and work your way back, and don't hold it on your hair too long, but do nice even, semi-quick strokes with the iron. Repeat if you need to. Then move on..............

Yes i can relate because i've experienced the same issues with that straightener, perhaps use a volumizing shampoo.

ok idk if this works it makes my hair really soft what i do is take a straight iron and a brush brush my hair then staighten it like one after the other do in chunks

Use a round brush to dry it straight and it will also lift your hair at the roots to give your hair volume. Then go over the ends with a ceramic straightening iron, if needed.
