I have thick hair and a lot of it and I need a straightner thats does the job quick. The salon I go to uses the CHI, and I loved it cause it straightens my hair out quick, and keeps it straight for a long time. The salon doesnt sell them. I dont care how much cause I know they are expensive. The salon uses a 1 inch, but I herd 2 inch is better for thick hair. Show links please!

OK i have really thick hair and i use the one inch chi and it works awesome u can get it in almost any mall at a hair place that is how i got mine or ask u salon to order u one

actually an inch sized one is better, because you can get closer to the scalp and plus it makes you take smaller sections. If you take too big of sections you end up having to go back in and do it a second time. Truely any of the Chi straighteners are great. I would get one that heats up to a pretty high temp. Your going to be spending over 100 dollars no matter what you buy.

I bought my daughter one last Christmas from a hair salon.I would suggest calling around to the other salons.The one I bought her is the name brand(CHI),it was over a $100.00.The one she has is the inch one and she has thick hair.She loves it and it works well for her.She said she didn't know if the 2 inch would be better.I would ask a beautician, if they think the 2 inch would be better.Some salons carry them and some don't /and some will order them for you if you ask.

the turbo chi (the second one) is much better cause my friend nickie has it and she has really curly hair. but one day i was over her house and she straightened her hair in like ten minutes!
