I have a farouk biosilk flat iron and I have very coarse wavy hair. Which heat setting should I use?

Is the Farouk biosilk flat iron a CHI?

If you have Very coarse hair you should use a High setting.

Course hair can take more heat because its thicker than fine hair.

Good luck!

Well you should definitely use a high setting but not the highest. NEVER use the highest setting you dont want to burn your hair

In order to know what is better for you hair you should test it on ldifferent settings to know that is going to get your hair the way you want it. As long as you put a great hair product in you hair such as Dudley's or and kind of wax used for curling hair before you can use it at a higher setting and it wouldn't be as damaging for the first time you straighten it. However, during the week for touch ups it's better to use a lower setting.

You can find Dudley's products or something similar to it at a local hair store or maybe CVS or Rite-Aid

you shouldn't use the high setting, you don;t want to burn your hair. if you do you should be very careful, find some type of hair protectant to put on your hair that's light, and will protect it from the heat.
