The Chi is it like the best or paul mitchel? paul mitchel is more so does that mean it works better?

said chi was top of the line if it was why was paul mitchell so much more? and why is there no heat settings on the chi? ......... %26amp; wuts the best deep conditioning treatment for dry curly hair ?

The Chi is it like the best or paul mitchel? paul mitchel is more so does that mean it works better? the lady?

chi is the BEST! and yes, it's the top. The reason why it's cheaper is that lots of people buy it, so they don't need to have that high of a price, since they have enough consumers. There probably isn't any heat settings because it doesn't matter! As long as it works. If you have really curly hair, just go over it 2-3 times max ;It's the same thing as having a higher setting. Before straightening your hair, ALWAYS put "serum" (this prevents frizz).. and after you're done, I suggest you to use a "leave- in conditioner" to protect your dry hair. Aussie is a pretty good brand.

Which chi to get?

i have pretty frizzy and wavy hair that goes a little past my shoulders, which chi iron should i get?

thanks!

Which chi to get?

just get the 1inch original .its the best!

Which chi to get?

I used to have frizzy curly hair.....over the past year it has gradually gotten straighter and straighter, now it won't even scrunch (perhaps from too much flat-ironing).

Anyway, the 1 inch is great because it can get really close to the scalp and you have more control over those curls that start at the root.

On the other hand, I know how difficult curly hair can be when trying to straighten it. And having a 2 inch or bigger flat iron make the process go by much quicker.

My suggestion......get two!! :).....and you can have the best of both worlds.

**Also, with the smaller size, you can do tiny flip-up's (or in's)....with the larger size, you can do big flip-up's (or in's).

Hope this helps! :)

My chi straighter isnt worth it.?

i spent 150 dollors on this chi straightener.

i got it from target.

i have wavy hair, and everytime i straighten my hair, it wont stop sticking up.

do you think i should return it? i mean my 20 dollor strighter worked better!

My chi straighter isnt worth it.?

it's static, put hair products in it

don't return it!

My chi straighter isnt worth it.?

wtf!!!! a chi works way better!!! ya a 20dollar one sucks!! i ahve one and i ahve a chi....maybe try using some starightning spray before using it.

My chi straighter isnt worth it.?

well my chi was amazing i think you should exchange it becaue there could be a problem with it and if it doesnt work out the second time than return it and get ur money back

My chi straighter isnt worth it.?

yeah definitely, if you $20 straighter worked better then stick with it.

My chi straighter isnt worth it.?

If it doesn't work, and then cheap one was working for you, why is there even a question? Unless you "have" to have the fancy name brand, how is this possibly worth the cost to you?

Return it, and go back to what works.

My chi straighter isnt worth it.?

One thing, Target isn't even supposed to be selling that brand of Iron those straighteners are salon only, and two you need to use some anti-frizz stuff.

My chi straighter isnt worth it.?

Is it a knock off? Usually you have to go through a salon for a Chi. As for your hair sticking up you could try some Biosilk. It only takes a little bit and it makes your hair shiny. My Chi is awesome and it beats any other straightener i've used.

My chi straighter isnt worth it.?

Yes. My 20 dollar straightener worked better than a CHI too. I don't see what the hype is. It's just because it was the first ceramic or something. I say return it. The quality depends on your hair, and the CHI isn't great for everyone.

My chi straighter isnt worth it.?

I would return it if you are not happy. I love the sedu one a lot better then the chi.

My chi straighter isnt worth it.?

I have a chi and it works great so maybe there is something wrong with yours, if so exchange it. Also you can use john frieda smoothing serum which makes your hair silky and smooth and prevents your hair from getting staticky. I got mine from target. There is also cheaper (i think its like $3) smoothing hair spray from the brand sunsilk which works well and keeps your hair safe from the heat of the straightener.

good luck!

My chi straighter isnt worth it.?

instead of using it on your hair going straight down curve it a bit so the loose hairs go back in place

My chi straighter isnt worth it.?

if your 20 dollar one worked better than ur 150 then why wouldn't you take it back. it's like your spending 130 dollars more for some that works way worse.

My chi straighter isnt worth it.?

I say return it!

I have a 20 dollar straightener too :D

And if you want a Chi I think you should get it from somewhere else because at JCPenney I saw them selling it for about 120.

I think you got ripped off!

Chi Straightners [?]?

I went and got my hair cut, it's layered around to frame my face about three inches past my shoulders. The hairdresser used a chi straightner, recommending it.

I've got questions for you please :)

-Size? I don't want to spend forever straighning it.... but I don't want it huge, my hair is full but not thick.

-Model? Have you seen a good model or have a good model of a chi straightner?

-I want ceramic so it doesn't fry my hair... =]

-Do they hold up or are they junk? I've heard good things about them. Are there tips to maintain them to last longer?

-Good websites?

-Other comments?

Thanks!!! =]

Really appreciate answers.

Chi Straightners [?]?

the CHI is fantastic, i have it, it's wortht he money, it's ceramic, it's very small, but works so good and quickly

Chi Straightners [?]?

i have a chi professional and i love it1 i have thick curly hair so it takes a wile. but if u blow dry it it only takes a few min and it is so strait i would recommend It love mine

Chi Straightners [?]?

Chi's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.

To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.

For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.

I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.

It reaches 410 degrees, with tempature control. CHI doesn't have tempature control.

Celebgrites have nice hair, and they don't use CHI, they use Sedu. Go to beautyriot.com and look at many Sedu Hairstyles. they are under the catagaory, Sedu Hairstyles.

Good luck!

Chi Straightners [?]?

What Marie Haley said

CHI Turbo 2''?

I am considering buying the chi turbo 2'' because I heard it reduces the time it takes to straighten your hair. I have thick hair, but it is also very fine. I have the origonial chi, and it takes me 20-30 mminutes to straighten my hair. money is not an issue, but is it a good buy?

CHI Turbo 2''?

get the skinnier 1 inch chi because they are easier to use. a larger iron does not make for a better one. sectioning your hair may make it easier to to straighten. also, don't wash your hair everyday so you do not have to style it everyday.

How should i get my hair cut???????

One good thing would be to get a curl seperater moose it will give you defined curls the got2b brands have a good product for that. You might want to get it thined a little and just define your curls that would be a very, sexy look!

How should i get my hair cut???????

Get it cut short! i have red hair just like yours. i was scared to at first, but i tried it and it looks great! just be sure to get layers with it. and by the way, don't starighten your hair! curls are great if you can find the right products to tame them. good luck:)...

p.s- Marc Anthony products are great for taming curls! get the yellow one

Heat protecter?

i straighten my hair every day, i have naturally curly hair, and if i wear it curly i straighten my bangs soo yeah i straighten it EVERY DAY. i was wondering what is a good heat protecter for my hair? i use CHI silk infusion right now and it works but it smells kinda manly and is kinda exspensive?! any good ones other then chi and silk therapy? thanks

Heat protecter?

go to sally's hair sallon. Ask the lady for some cheap, good heat protector. That is what I did and my hair is Great!!! Mine is orange. So just get a pro. to help you out!

p.s. Good Luck!

Heat protecter?

This is my favorite. I've been using it for a couple years now. You can find it at any drugstore/supermarket/salon...

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a...

Heat protecter?

I like ion products. they have at Sallys beauty supply Ion heat protectant for like 6.50. prices may be different though depending on where you live

Heat protecter?

Go to Sally's beauty supply, I use a brand called "Heat it up", it's in an orange bottle with a maroon top. It works the best for me, I have no split ends. Hope this helps! =]

Is my hair damaged ?!?

so when i was in the fifth grade i got my hair highlighted with red streaks. i used to go in the pool alot and that eventually faded. i highlighted it again probably like a year after but at home. about maybe 5 monthes after i dyed my hair dark brown to my natural color.

then , just 4 montes ago i wanted a change. so i highlighted my hair with blonde streaks. it looks really nice now. i got a straightener because i didnt like my wavy hair. i straightened it everyday for about 3 %26amp; a half monthes. its one of those CHI irons , so its pretty good.

lately i feel like my hair is getting all gross-looking. its kinda dry. my hair is naturally wavy , %26amp; so i discovered about a week ago that i really like my natural wavy hair. it looks hella better than my straightened hair. i let my hair air dry every night now. i dont straighten it any more , or even blow dry.

is my hair damaged after all of this?

or because i stopped straightening it , is it fine now ?

heeelp. :]

Is my hair damaged ?!?

Give it time. As your hair grows, you can trim off the damaged ends as your healthy hair grows in.

Try hot oil treatments weekly to treat the dryness.

If you blow dry, dry from the roots down. The roots will always dry faster, and if you dry the roots and leave the ends slightly damp, you'll minimize the damage.

Is my hair damaged ?!?

u need proper hair care read some useful hair tips and more on this site

Is my hair damaged ?!?

most def. heat damages hair. trust me, i am a licensed cosmetologist. u should try to only put heat to your hair once a week, twice at the most. the lightening does major damage also. ur hair is traumatized.

Is my hair damaged ?!?

Do you have split ends?? I would say using a straightener on your hair every day for any amount of time will make it damaged... just be sure to get it cut every 6 weeks or so so that your split ends don't get really bad because then your hair will look really dry. Not blow drying your hair or straightening it will help tremendously, but your hair still could be damaged. If you don't need to get it cut, you might want to try a nice shampoo/conditioner for dry/damaged hair. Pantene conditioner can work wonders on dry and damaged hair.

Is my hair damaged ?!?

Putting color on your hair and or heat will damage it if you don't replenish the moisture. Just like if your hands in soap %26amp; water a lot, you have to use a moisturizing lotion. Your hair is the same. You did'n say over what period of time all these chemical treatments had happened. Remember your hair grows out too. There are lots of products on the market to help lessen the damaging effects of color and straightening. Wavey or curly hair may tend to look frizzy in humid weather. Just use a shampoo and conditioner made to help tame the frizz and be sure to have the ends trimmed regularly. My daughter in law has long wavey hair and she irons it at least 4-5 days a week. When the weather is humid she braids it when it is wet before she goes to bed, and takes it down the next morning and it looks great.

Is my hair damaged ?!?

no its your conisis

when i was in fifth grade

i died my hair red

then i died it back to my normal coulor with purple streaks

and now my hair is fine sweetty

i was also scared

Is my hair damaged ?!?

yea you should get a trim to cut off all the split ends and use a hair treatment and its good that you air dry your hair now cause heat really damages your hair espeacially the sun so use sun screen spray in your hair

How do I do this?

I heard the CHI is A VERY good straightener. And I also heard the Sedu is magnificent as well. I am curious if I get the sedu or CHI will my hair look like this?

http://www.imnotobsessed.com/2006/12/10/...

Like Courteney Cox's? Please answer.

Thank you.

How do I do this?

It could, but it kinda depends on what your hair looks like to begin with. Cox's hair is not that thick, so if you have thick hair, you will never get it as thin looking. You could try layering it and thining it, but you can only do so much if your hair is very course.

How do I do this?

Sedu ans Soila are the best straighteners you can get. I have been told that Chi's short out and have problems not long after you buy them and that they don't work as well.

If you have natural flip at your ends your hair will never be perfectly straight you will still have the flip.

If your hair is thick you can make it look thinner by ironing small sections at a time until you get it throughly ironed, you can get layers, or you can get your hair thinned.

How do I do this?

chi s will work with anytype of hair. i recamend that one!

When I straighten my hair it's too straight but too curly when I don't?

I have naturally curly hair...and I recently got it cut like a bob cause I wanted shorter hair for summer, I usually straighten it with my Chi Chi iron, but it gets too flat, and looks borring what can i do to make it look kind of curly but not full blown out curls..help me...

When I straighten my hair it's too straight but too curly when I don't?

buy a 2" curling iron. run it through your hair like you would any other curling iron, but go through slowly so it straightens a little bit then curl the ends either in or out. you'll get really nice waves, and it's COMPLETELY effortless! i just bought a 2" hot tools curling iron (around $40) and it takes about 5 minutes to do my hair in the mornings.

hope all goes well! have fun.

When I straighten my hair it's too straight but too curly when I don't?

Curly hair is beautiful.

Be the beautiful you that God made you.

Remember, real beauty comes from within.

Keep smiling!

When I straighten my hair it's too straight but too curly when I don't?

i have the same problem. My hair is really really curly...i would use volume mousse or spray one you are done straightning it! good luck...

from someone that had the same problem

When I straighten my hair it's too straight but too curly when I don't?

try after you straten it to crimp it or scrunch it

When I straighten my hair it's too straight but too curly when I don't?

i like curly hair but maybe you should blow dry your hair i guess...

When I straighten my hair it's too straight but too curly when I don't?

Use a better hair product, maybe all you need to do is defuse the moisture out and blow dry it straight enough.

IF I were you, if you want it simple, than keep it simple-naturally. Get a haircut that is for your texture and learn how to make those curls "rock" with products.

I recommend that you find a stylist with "YOUR" hair and totally bond with them sister.

Happy hair!

When I straighten my hair it's too straight but too curly when I don't?

just use some anti frizz products and blow dry it, it will come out nice..

When I straighten my hair it's too straight but too curly when I don't?

Get a pick and and some hair spray and pick and ur hair and give it a poof and the hair spray it it would look good if u did it in the back at the top.

When I straighten my hair it's too straight but too curly when I don't?

Straighen your hair then use a spray that adds volume.

When I straighten my hair it's too straight but too curly when I don't?

i like curly hair

Frizzy hair??? Help!?

I blow dry my hair after I wash it and I straighten it with a CHI but ive still got these short frizzy fly away hairs that go everywhere on top. Is there a good hair product I can use that will make these hairs lay down and not be all frizzy? Help!

Frizzy hair??? Help!?

I use this product called- Catwalk Fashionista Smooth %26amp; Shine Heat and Iron Safe

Put it in your hair before and after.

http://www.joybeauty.com/products/catwal...

Frizzy hair??? Help!?

if you could get a trim and lay off the heat for a while and use conditioner it will help

Frizzy hair??? Help!?

Get a good "smoothing" shampoo with conditioner. My daughter has the same problem and my hairdresser recommended this. It worked beautifully!

Frizzy hair??? Help!?

I don't have this problem but my sister does and she uses Frizz-Ease hair serum by John Frieda, you can buy it at places like Target, Walmart, the grocery store... also when you are blow drying your hair this might help you could use a brush to blow dry it out, this helps maintain those little frizzies!

Frizzy hair??? Help!?

Try a product called BEDHEAD its great. Also use alot more conditioner in the shower than you think is normal and take a brush and brush it through and leave it in for awhile then rinse out. It will be easier to manage and less frizzy.

Whats more damaging to hair?

Straightening it every other day with a CHI, (With some spray that says it "protects" your hair) Or getting it chemically straightened by a professional?

Whats more damaging to hair?

Well i have the CHI and personally it works just as good as going and getting it straightened but i heared that getting ur hair straightened proffesionally is bad 4 ur hair and i straighten mine everyday if that tells u anything..

~peace~

Whats more damaging to hair?

Both are equally damaging if you don't give your hair a break/treat every once in a while.

And, unless your hair is close to straight already [soft wave] chemically straightening won't do much except make your hair very similar to an African-American's hair [provided you aren't already African American] and it still isn't -straight-.

Try not straightening for a month or two and figuring out styles with your hair as it naturally is. It saves alot of time and, with hot oil and keratin treatments, your hair will love you again.

Should i get a new straightener?

ok, rite now i have a conair flat iron, and its a wet to dry one (but i never use it on wet hair) and i've been using it since october. i think my hair is ok, but i wanna know if i've been frying it by using such a cheap brand. is is better for ur hair if u go for the salon brands like CHI and Sedu?? i kno my friend has a CHI and her hair is PERFECT all the time. my hair is rly light blonde, but when i use the straightener it comes out kinda dull, and it never straightenes all the way - i have a lot of fly-aways. idk if this is just becuase im not spending enough time styling my hair - or im not using good enough products (rite now im using Nexxus), or its it rly the STRAIGHTENER thats frying my hair?? is it worth it to buy a flat iron thats more than 100 bucks? i kno that i dun wanna irreprably damage my hair, and i dont want it to lose its natural texture - it dun straighten every day. is there a flat iron that can do this????????? THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should i get a new straightener?

i had a conair straightner and it was really cheap and wasn't good at all. I dont think the brand however hurts your hair anymore than a CHI does because i've heard some bad things about CHIs. If you're like me I have a hard time getting my hair to look good and even after straightening it becomes frizzy and kind of dry looking. There are just certain people who can straighten their hair amazingly but I think they take a long time on their hair. If you want your hair to look a bit better you should maybe invest in a better straightner...i no there is some $80 good straightners out there. Hope that helped!

Should i get a new straightener?

I got mine at a beauty supply shop it was about $45 ceramic is best, I also noticed the good one doesnt pull my hair, also you should use products on your hair for straightening, I use a glosser and a straightning mousse, plus a thermal protecting spray you spray on when you straighten. and dont straighten all the time, I use a big round brush to straighten during the week, and only flat iron when I am out on the town...

Should i get a new straightener?

ive used a lot of straighteners and a cheap one that works good too is the andis http://www.andis.com/USA/products.asp?Di...

just make sure bfore u use heat protectant spray and ur hair is fully dry before using it. an CHI is good too, tho and it works faster. i also saw tha andis at walmart for 15$. soo yea..also for shampoo use the pantene ice shine, it smells good and makes that shiny look in ur hair. fter u finish no matter wut straightener u use, put CHI silk infusion in ur hair

閳?br>

srry if i wrote too much

Is CHI really the best flat iron???

i wanna know if i should change my flat iron....i use a toni %26amp; guy http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/pa... whish just cost 19 pounds ..it gets my hair straight

but after reading all this hyp about chi flat irons i feel like buying it...

but before tht i would like to know ur opinion as chi straightners are expensive (around 100 pounds)...

also could anyone lemme know where i can get the product in uk as in a retail store and not online...

Is CHI really the best flat iron???

As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons, including Sedu, HAI, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss GHD, T3, Kenta etc.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, GHD. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: CHI, HAI, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Worst: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

Is CHI really the best flat iron???

YES it is really the best. recommended and used by users and professionals alike. it is ceramic and protects ur hair but is really fast and good ihave one. you can buy one in Ulta but iono if you have one in the UK. YOU HAVE TO BUY ONE!!! its so worth it. but use the CHI serum that goes with it to protect ur hair.

Is CHI really the best flat iron???

no, the best flat iron is the ghd.

Is CHI really the best flat iron???

Chi is awesome. I have had mine for 3 years and still works fantastic. It is super fast.

Is CHI really the best flat iron???

Chi is comparable to TiGi

The latest is the bio-ionic line.

Is CHI really the best flat iron???

i haven't tried the sedu, ghd, or any of the other more "high-end" straighteners. my hairstylist uses chi on me and it's amazing, my hair is damaged from previous cheap irons and Chi's really good. I'm not sure if it breaks easily though, thats what people say.

it gets really hot and steamy but does a GREAT job even on fried hair, it makes it smoother.and the plates don't snag your hair like all conairs do

to answers your question, in the product description it said "tourmaline and ceramic coating" usually the coating wears off.

Is CHI really the best flat iron???

The best is Sedu.

Why do girls/women with nice wavy hair flat-iron or straighten it like a religion?

Before the 20th century, women in Europe and America w/ wavy ginger hair were considered the most beautiful. Even the great Galileo wrote medical treatise on how the women of Europe could have grit for whitening the teeth and a recipe for auburn hair.

Nowadays, even extremely sound-minded women clutch their Chi ceramic irons to their bosoms like a holy mandate.

I have two friends w/ long luscious chestnut hair. They both flat iron their hair like their lives depends upon it. They have both been doing this since jr high school and are now college seniors. Either can explain why they continue the daily struggle to make their hair stick-straight at such a high cost in products, time and damage to their hair.

On days that one of them sleeps in late, I might meet her for lunch and she always exclaims shamfully "My hair is awful today! It閳ユ獨 terrible! I hate it."

My question always is what is wrong with those lovely God-given face-framing curls, ringlets and waves in the first place.

Why do girls/women with nice wavy hair flat-iron or straighten it like a religion?

I gave up ironing my hair years ago. It's just what the media likes these days. I love my hair and I stand out in the crowd. We tend to get brain washed into thinking we have to be like everyone else and a majority of people are not blessed with the curls and waves. Therefore, (and I was one of the blind followers for a long time) it makes sense that so many girls try to hide their beautiful locks in favor of blending in. Once they get self-esteem, they usually stop. I know I did and I'll never go back.

Why do girls/women with nice wavy hair flat-iron or straighten it like a religion?

Not all women/girls do so.

I agree with you--waves and curls are so pretty.

I love my waves.

Good luck

Why do girls/women with nice wavy hair flat-iron or straighten it like a religion?

It's because we want what we do not have, if my hair is straight I want curly hair, if it is curly I want straight hair. Straight hair is really "in" right now as well.

Why do girls/women with nice wavy hair flat-iron or straighten it like a religion?

I think sometimes people just get bored with seeing the same thing in the mirror every day, or maybe they find a style that they think makes them look good, so they just stick with it. Sometimes it's difficult to see yourself for how you naturally are and really appreciate it. Even I tend to think I look like a monster without a bit of makeup here and there, when in the past I thought makeup was pointless and never wore any. I think people just fall into a routine of doing things and stay that way.

Why do girls/women with nice wavy hair flat-iron or straighten it like a religion?

they don't see what you see and in there opinion they think they are hidious unless they meet their self percieved idea of beauty

Why do girls/women with nice wavy hair flat-iron or straighten it like a religion?

Well, I have wavy hair but sometimes I like having the sleek look of straight hair. I had pin straight hair my whole life then about 3 years ago my hair started getting wavy--I don't know why. Actually it's crazy wavy right now because it's humid. I like wavy sometimes because I don't have to do it to get ready to go somewhere--a little styling product, air dry and go. I like my hair both ways.

Why do girls/women with nice wavy hair flat-iron or straighten it like a religion?

What a strange trend. I didn't even know that women did that until you

mentioned it. There are of course women with naturally straight hair that

use curling irons to make their hair wavy. Evidently, some women innately

prefer straight hair, and others innately prefer wavy hair.

Wavy hair is characterized by the abstract property of fineness, such

that people with a temperament of fineness prefer it, and people with a

temperament of crudeness detest it.

Hair straitening question?? really need your help!?

okay.. first question is What do you do before straitening your hair (with flat iron)?? like do you put heat protection spray?? anything else?

second question: I bought chi %26amp; I got "smoothing styling cream" for chi (it's in a red bottle) is this a hair protection?? if not what is it for?

Hair straitening question?? really need your help!?

You should always use a heat protection spray before you straighten your hair. It should tell you what it's for on the bottle.

Hair straitening question?? really need your help!?

smothing styling spray is becouse sometimes hair stratining can make your hair frizzy so that helps with that but no its not a hair protection....

Hair straitening question?? really need your help!?

1) Yes you really should put hair protection on your hair before straightening it.

2) There are a lot of Chi products in a red bottle but if it is hair protection then it would say it.

Hair straitening question?? really need your help!?

I LOVE and LIVE by Biosoil by Farouk (I think that's how you spell it.) I use it when my hair is wet or damp then blowdry and straighten.

It really works wonders! I even slather some on my skin. It makes it really soft!

Hair straitening question?? really need your help!?

I put biosilk or silk drops by design line in my hair before I straighten it. It makes it smoother and shinier and it's amazing the difference it makes when I use it. I don't usually use protection in my hair when I straighten it even though u're supposed to and the intense heat damages ur hair but i really dont see a anything bad ever happen to my hair when i don't use a heat protecting product.

I need new hair?

Okay so im getting a chi soon so i figure i need a new hair style.

I want it shorter but not to short with dark underneath and some brown highlights on top... ant other suggestions or does mine sound plain dumb??

http://a554.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/ima...

I need new hair?

I definitly think you should get bangs. Thin ones though, not chunky and teh kind that go across your forhead. you have the perfect face for it!

I need new hair?

Yours sounds good but i would add some copper highlights with the brown highlights!

Good luck

I need new hair?

Your hair is a good length to have any style done to it,a good solution would be to go to your local stylist %26amp; browse through the latest style cuts with her,or even ask her opinion, you could have a look online to see what's "in",you have nice hair and a nice face so anything would look good,

I need new hair?

First, a word about CHI flat irons. They get great reviews, but there's a catch. They have a tendency to break easily, become weaker with time, and have a short lifespan. I recommend the Solia or the Sedu. I got my Solia off Folica.com, but they sell a lot of different high-end flat irons. And you can read product reviews there, too. ^_^

The best place to look for hairstyle ideas is at bosshair.com. Most other haircut galleries have styles that are just way too frou-frou, y'know?

CHI straighterners?

OK OK.

so im on a search for a good straightener..

....people are telling that CHI straighteners are really good.

BUT.. i want a straightener that is kinda a brush ..so its good for thick hair..( the link below )

So does any1 no if CHI has any products that are like this straightener...

http://www.ferrit.co.nz/WebRoot/ExtImage...

(and does it sell in Australia....?)

thnku =]

CHI straighterners?

i got a chi, and it is AMAZING!!! i have EXTREMELY thick and curly hair and it thins it and straightens it for me. it also keeps it straight until you wet your hair. also, it didn't break at all for me. i don't even have a scratch on mine. if you're worried about it breaking then don't take it out a lot. it may be expensive, but it is worth it!!! it heats up in seconds and straightens on the first stroke. i love it it is definitely not a cheap straightener. i highly recommend it. it is the smartest buy i have ever made. dont worry about the brush

just look at my hair!!! i brought it to my stylist to use.

http://www.redhillsalon.com/images/deion...

CHI straighterners?

Chi streightners are amazing on both thick and thin hair. It's all about how you style it. Make sure you are doing your hair in layers. Start from the bottom layer, at the back of your neck and work your way up to the top of your head. This will take the thickness away and give your hair the heat it needs to streighten it.

CHI straighterners?

well I have thick hair so I went to a hair dresser and got it thined then I just straighten it normally.

CHI straighterners?

I've used plenty of those brush straightens , and they truely suck . They just get stuck in your hiar and pull out hair more than straighten them . I now have a Chi , it is amazing

It's the best straightener i've ever used and my friends always make me bring my straightener to places because they love it too . Bahaha , I recommend it

CHI straighterners?

i think u should still get a chi. i have thick hair and i use it and it works great if you do it right. its like a gift from God lol.

CHI straighterners?

Chi's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.

To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.

For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.

Curling with a Sedu:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=k57daS_c_yI%26amp;f...

Flipping hair with a Sedu:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=qrMPuIdQ0vw

I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.

It reaches 410 degrees., with tempature control. CHI doesn't have tempature control.

Good luck!

What is the best full ceramic hair straightener should i get?

i want the full ceramic ones not just the ceramic coated ones.. and what should i get? i heard the chi was really good but breaks down easily.. and where should i get it?? and what's the best one.. cause there are so many straighteners out there..

-vancouver, canada

What is the best full ceramic hair straightener should i get?

I have a Chi and it works fine for me. Go to a beauty supply store and they should be able to help you pick a reliable one.

What is the best full ceramic hair straightener should i get?

Sedu is really good. Here's a link and check out the reviews. Avoid TV irons those suck really bad. I'd had my sedu for a year and it works just as good as when i got it. It gives me super straight (i mean slick straight asian looking) hair. Good luck!

P.S.

Your right about investing in a good quality straightner because those 50 dollar ones just don't give good results.

What is the best full ceramic hair straightener should i get?

CHI, I had mine now for 11 months and very happy with it. I never heard of the rumors of them breaking. they must not take care of them. mine still heats up good. gives me the silky smooth hair all the time. fast to do my hair to with me having long hair. Im glad i left the cheap crap and invested in a CHI. Good Luck =)

What is the best full ceramic hair straightener should i get?

I had a CHI and it wasn't any good. It made my hair frizzy over time. I also found out that it wasn't 100% ceramic, only the top was or something, but it only tells you that inside in the instruction book. I like the company BioIonic. I have had my straightener for about 6 months and it works great. My hair is really curly and I can even get it pretty straight with just using the straightener and not a blow dryer. Just make sure you use good products to go with it so you don't dry out your hair (I use Davines products).

Chi or solia?

hi i wanted to buy a new straighter for my thick reallly wavy hair, wanted to know which one people like more or suggest the chi or the solia? i want one that straightens my hair and keeps it striahgt all day, the problem with my hair is that it dosnt stay straight, please help me decide!

Chi or solia?

I love the chi ones, but I never tried the solia ones...sorry.

What kind of hair straightener should I get?

I have had SO many hair straighteners in the past. I've had two CHI's and a few others, but they seem to keep my hair straight for an hour or two then it gets wavy. I live in Louisiana so it is humid all the time, but I see girls all the time with perfectly straight hair. My hair is thick but it isn't frizzy or curly .. will someone help me PLEASE. Also if there are some hair products that work please let me know too.

What kind of hair straightener should I get?

GHD straightners, the best things i have ever bought. They also sell an ion oil which helps keep your hair straight and healthy so it dosnt frizz xx

What kind of hair straightener should I get?

Infiniti by Conair works the best.its soooo great!!!!!

try it n u wont regret it.

What kind of hair straightener should I get?

it doesn't matter about wat brand, but try straightners that have gold metal thing on where you starighten ur hair :D

What kind of hair straightener should I get?

GHD straightener

If your willing to pay a couple of hundred for it

its EXCELLENT unless you have a shower it stays for days.

Go to a beauty shop and ask if they have any spray or something to help with the humidity

What kind of hair straightener should I get?

Try conair's 1" professional ceramic straightener and Salon Straight's line of products. They all work great. You can get them at www.youravon.com/tonettelee.

What kind of hair straightener should I get?

revlon makes a straightener that is as good as chi but it isnt as expensive. to me though it sounds like you need a moisture blocking serum. the humidity is making your hair frizz, not the straightener.

What kind of hair straightener should I get?

One word- SEDU.

What kind of hair straightener should I get?

I think that GHDs are the best type of straighteners, the straightening effect lasts and so do the straighteners! Hope this helps!

What kind of hair straightener should I get?

Well there are actually several ceramic irons that will fight humidity. They range from $60 %26amp;%26amp; up. The girls whose hair stays super straight might have relaxers or their hair type might be completely different than yours. But try an anti-frizz cream(I use V05 smoothing creme), not 2 heavy, %26amp;%26amp; try not to straighten your hair %26amp;%26amp; go right outside. Wrap it up for a few or before you go to sleep. Then unwrap it before you leave the house!

How do keep my hair straight ALL day?

ok so my haor has a natural curl to it. and i straighten it every day before school. i splurged on a straightener and bought a CHI. works great. but my 4 hours later my hair will start curling up at the layers? how can i keep my hair Straight all day?

How do keep my hair straight ALL day?

Use straightening balsams!

http://www.ukhairdressers.com/store/deta...

This one is definitely the best, u should really check it out!

Hope I helped!

How do keep my hair straight ALL day?

After I shower in the morning, i use Garnier Frucits leave-in conditioning cream to keep the frizz away, then after that i blow dry and straighten, it keeps the frizziness away all day....

CHI plates?

Hi,

I just got my CHI flat iron and love the way it straightens my hair!!

Recently, I noticed that the ceramic plates on my CHI has a bare spot in the middle of the top plate and a smaller bare spot on the bottom plate. If anyone knows why and could tell me what I should do to go about fixing this problem,I would really appeciate it. Thank you.

p.s. my hair hasn't been pin straight like it has been the first time I used it, I think it may have something to do with bare parts of my plates.

CHI plates?

take it back and get another one... and do not use it until you have a new CHI because those bare spots will absolutely destroy your hair strands.. it will scorch them badly and cause your hair to become extremely damaged. there is no need for that when you have a warranty and it can be replaced.

CHI plates?

If you bought it through a salon retailer, you can take it back and have it replaced.

CHI plates?

I have a CHI flat iron myself, and love it to death. If the results you're getting really aren't as good as the first time, then take the flat iron to the store where you bought it and show it to the staff. Look to see if there's a warranty. CHI flat irons are really expensive, so you deserve for the company to replace your damaged one with a new one. Remember, it's their fault, not yours.

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

okay im 15 yrs old and idk which purse is cuter?

http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o260/... okay that purse is kind of 2004-2005 but hey i still like it

http://pictures.macrosysinc.net/rsw/3040...

or...ok nvm thats it lol DECIDE FOR ME PLZ! if you want a hint of my style...well i wear clean makeup (foundation and all i mean) and i chi my hair but idk if that helps

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

the coach purse!!!

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

The Dooney and Bourke one, definitely. Love it!

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

the first one

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

i prefer the second one. but its whatever your style is :D

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

i like the second one, but the first is more like something a teenager would wear.

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

the second one deff.

:D

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

omg i love the 1st girl soo hott!!

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

Coach!

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

i like both but i would have to go with the second one. lol

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

I love the FIRST ONE!!!!

The second one looks very dirty and fake!

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

Probably the second one if you like 80s.

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

I like #1 a lot better. I think the color's make you seem more like a teen and the 2nd one the beige color is more of a granny color.

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

Coach luv it !

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

Neither. But if I had to choose, I'd choose the first one. I'm not into brands and stuff so I don't usually buy purses like those. :D

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

def purse #2

that first purse is outdated and was cool several seasons ago. the second purse is a classic and will match anything.

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

i LOVE the coach one!

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

the coach purse blows the other one way off! girl ur gonna get a lot of guys with that bag

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

The Coach purse...

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

I like the second one, and I don't even like designer bags...

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

The coach. The first one is too plain.

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

well bacsiclly the bags are opposite and they can be used for different things i for one like the second one but like you said its your desions and the black and white seems to fit the personality you described

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

go with coach. dooney and burke to me seems low class. coach is a higher standard

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

ok well i think that the coach purse is the best but the other one is cute for a day at the mall and the coach one is great for anything so i would say the coach(oh if u r not totaly into the sofistcation thing i say not the coach one)

HOPE I HELLPED

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

thee fiRsttt 0nee deff :)

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

Coach purse!!

The Dooney's look like something from Wonka's Chocolate factory.

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

There both very plain jane try Betsey Johnson People be more edgy! damn

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

the second one definately

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

i like the first one better, also it will match with almost anything!

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

I think they are both cute. The first one is pretty popular, but I see them worn mainly by Middle schoolers. So for your age I think the white %26amp; black one would be a better choice.

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

the 2nd one :]

Which purse is cuter? (pics)?

I prefer the second one.

I want a straightner for Christmas, which one should I get?

I'm asking my parents for a hair straightner, which one should I get, a Sedu or a Chi?My hair is naturally curly, like little kinky curly( like Sophie's on Cory in The House). Please tell me how each one works, PERSONAL experience, not what ppl on the web sites say! Please answer!

I want a straightner for Christmas, which one should I get?

chi but i personally recomend a wet to dry because you can use them when ur hairs wet and u aint gotta take the time to dry them. i straighten my hair too and i have tight kinky curls

I want a straightner for Christmas, which one should I get?

chi

I want a straightner for Christmas, which one should I get?

chi

I want a straightner for Christmas, which one should I get?

ghd. I swear by it and as a professional always suggest it over the Chi. It gets hotter, it automatically adjusts to your hairs porosity, it's ceramic, and it's just amazing. The other girls at the salon had Chi's, then when I brought in my ghd, about three of them went out and bought them over the weekend. They're very much worth the price because they'll last a long time and they're not very damaging to the hair at all. They also double as curling irons. On the site they're pretty expensive, but I bet they're having Christmas deals right now. I got mine for about $150, but I also have a professional discount, so I'm not sure how much it will be for you.

I want a straightner for Christmas, which one should I get?

if you have no budget the chi.. but for normal ppl like me get a conair or the new bed head one.. srry didnt leave feedback.. i have had my conair for 3 yrs and it hasnt given out on me and i have thick curly hair that i straightan alll the time..one thing tho.. i have had friends with the same one ans they straighten there hair wet or with chemical sin it (e.g. hairspray mousse or w/e) and it gets nasty rusty and smell sbad.. so dont do that.. as for the bed head one just goin off of other ppls hair and not mine.. and the chi.. i had mine done with one ata salon b4 and omw it was fantastic!!!! hope it helps..

I want a straightner for Christmas, which one should I get?

GHD. It is so much better than the Chi. You can get them at Sephora.

Would it be good to use chi keratin mist as a heat protector?

i havent found a heat protector i like so i was wondering if my hair would be protected if i sprayed some chi keratin mist on it before i straighten it? thanks!

Would it be good to use chi keratin mist as a heat protector?

keratin is a natural protein found within your hair, so i would imagine, it would probably be even better for your hair than a regular heat protector. i use redkens uv protector on mine, and love it.

Should i get a chi?

OK so i have a straightner and whenever i straighten my hair its straight but REALLY poofy, i use like serums and stuff but it always turns out really big,i get perms cuz my hair is naturally really realy curly, is it just because i got a 50 dollar straightner....or just because im not doing something right?? do u have a chi? do they work good....i know that what my hair dressor uses right after they perm my hair..and then its like dead straight but after about a week i have to wash it and its back to normal...HELP, I DONT WANT TO GET A CHI AND HTEN HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.

Should i get a chi?

get a chi you wont be sorry! I love mine! go to http://search.folica.com/search?p=Q%26amp;ts=c... thats where I got mine!!!

Should i get a chi?

Girl my hair is the same way but when my friend told me 2 get a chi, and when i did my hair was straight and looked perfect!!!!

Good Luck

Should i get a chi?

yeah chis are good, but I have a Sedu which I LOVE, and it is less damaging than a Chi. I'd totally recommend getting a Sedu, but if not then yeah get a Chi.

Should i get a chi?

try going to a hair salon that sells the chi, then ask if you can try it out before you buy it. that salon would probably by using that straightener.

tell the your problem and they should be able to help you fix it, and create more styles with your type of hair

Wat guy has the cutis hair or teeth?

Wow....honestly, you would be more likely to get more answers if you took some care with your spelling and grammar, making sure to create actual WORDS.

But as to your question, I don't really have a preference for any one person, it depends on the whole package, although I will say I am particularly partial to L.L. Cool J. :)

Should i get a chi??? do they work, i need help.?

OK so i have a straightner and whenever i straighten my hair its straight but REALLY poofy, i use like serums and stuff but it always turns out really big,i get perms cuz my hair is naturally really realy curly, is it just because i got a 50 dollar straightner....or just because im not doing something right?? do u have a chi? do they work good....i know that what my hair dressor uses right after they perm my hair..and then its like dead straight but after about a week i have to wash it and its back to normal...HELP, I DONT WANT TO GET A CHI AND HTEN HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.

Should i get a chi??? do they work, i need help.?

u dont like chi...

i have a RUSK and i loooove it. its just as expensive as chi...

and pick up paul mitchells super skinny serum...that works wonders and smells awesome.

Should i get a chi??? do they work, i need help.?

CHI is very good and also it make your hair really straight i use one, im a guy though and its known to be a very good one too

Should i get a chi??? do they work, i need help.?

i dont know how i ever lived without one, they work so good, and you can do your hair in really pretty curls with it. so its definetly worth the money!

Should i get a chi??? do they work, i need help.?

the problem is that you need to condition and also continue to flat iron it will using a protecting spray to protect from heat, i've heard CHI's do well tho so give it a try

Deep conditioner for thinner hair?

i naturally have very thick, wavy, frizzy hair. my hair isnt incredibly thin, but significantly thinner than it used to be.. i think its thin because i straightened with shitty straighters just about every day for school freshman and sophmore year. i recently bought a chi straighter, and learned to put moisturing things in my hair while straightening, i never used to do that. however i dont want to use like any thing in my hair for the next couple months, i want it to grow back fuller and kinda revilatlize it, so i cut it shoulder length, and daily i put a bit of mousse and gel at the top of my hair to tame the frizzyness, than i tigh it up in a hair clip, or tie... ive been doing that for the past month and half. less hair is falling out and it looks ok, but i am sick of tieing it every day, i miss wearing my hair down... ppl have told me deep conditioners work good to make ur hair fuller, what should i use to make my hair thicker and fuller within the next couple months?

Deep conditioner for thinner hair?

Two words: Pert Plus.

Deep conditioner for thinner hair?

no it will make your hair very greasy. Stick to Herbal Essences Straight shampoo and conditioner.

Deep conditioner for thinner hair?

Putting your hair up will work against making it fuller. Any pulling at all will cause a higher percent of breakage than if you just leave it down.

Deep conditioner for thinner hair?

Buy a guys thickening shampoo, not women's shampoo. It works better. Get like Vive Pro for men thickening shampoo.

Deep conditioner for thinner hair?

Have you ever tried a clay, hair mask? Try that to get some pampering for your hair. Stop using the gel and other products as those are the reasons your hair is falling out. If you really need a gel, try a natural approach by boiling a load of flax seeds in water and then straining it (I am sure there is a recipe for this online..just look under 'flax seed hair gel recipe').

Best of luck. =o))

Deep conditioner for thinner hair?

when u dry ur hair, try cutting down a hair dryer; it makes ur hair dry and stuff. i use pantene shampoo and conditioner, and so many ppl tell me my hair is just like in the commercial lol. just be natural w/it; don't use so many products and stuff like u used to.

Deep conditioner for thinner hair?

i use Biosilk...the oil version in a translucent bottle. a bit pricey but worth it. usually CVS or Walgreen's has it.

Deep conditioner for thinner hair?

I 've had good success with Redken Extreme products - shampoo and conditioner..wear your hair down and spray a little leave in conditioner every day.

You can find it at Ulta, Target, and some Kmarts sell their products.

Deep conditioner for thinner hair?

yes you do.

deep contidionar is supposed to make hair less frizzy and fuller. use deep conditionar.

Deep conditioner for thinner hair?

my moms a hair stylist so this should work just put oils in it and leave the conditioner in for a while and make sure to cut of all dead ends to start of fresh

Deep conditioner for thinner hair?

i have long thick hair myself and had it that way for years and deep conditioners don't really matter and i think they dont make a difference. the less you burn (straighten) and put chemicals in your hair the better it will get. long hair usually keeps itself straight because of the weight. and im guessing you blowdry your hair, well that every day can be bad for your hair too. try for some days letting it dry natually.

good lick with that, just leave your hair out anyway who cares if its a bit frizzy or alot.

Deep conditioner for thinner hair?

this has happened to my older cousin and myself, were both guys btw, "what do guys know about hair?" its weird, but yeaaa we know stuff.

during my freshman/sophmore year i always straightened my hair, shampooed, conditionered, deep conditioned when i bought some, use wax and even colored/retouched my hair every 4-6 months. over time the long term affects started showing. I would find some of my hair falling out when i shampooed, and after i straightened my hair i would find various ammounts of hair were i straighted it.

the thing is, it sounds like your hair is damaged from everthing that you've been doing. it's thinning, and if you continue what your doing with your hair, the looong long long term effects maybe be early balding due to the thinning.

to prevent this, dont straighten you hair all the time, chi straighters are good, ive used one before until i cut my hair short. dont color your hair all the time. and dont use too much shampoo all the time. when taking baths, consider not using shampoo or conditioner all the time. when you strighten your hair its all the same, no one will know if you never used shampoo for that one day. deep conditioner will make you hair fuller? not excatly, each shampoo, conditioner, deepconditioner all has its own special purpose. consider switching to high quality shampoo/conditione that help revive damaged hair.

and since thinning hair literally falls out, it may take more than just "the next coupel months"

African american hair help...?

i have a 13yr old niece and she has natural, long (past shoulders) coarse very thick aa hair. i love styling it and have used a chi flat iron on her with great success. normally, her mom braids the top in a few creative corn rows and the back is left down thick and natural, not flat ironed. Id love to take the time with her this weekend and do a curly style but i have no idea where to begin since im caucasian and handle my hair differently. can anyone shed some light on this for me and help me understand black hair? ive read about setting lotions, waxes, straw sets, "pressing" first and i literally am completely lost. i really need someone to break it all down for me.

also, i realize im risking sounding ignorant but, as far as getting softer, ringlet curls, is it a matter of what her natural hair texture is to begin with or the way its styled after shampooing that will make it more curly and less frizzy? her hair is real thick but im very good with hair and i love her so much...as her auntie i want to spend the time with her and make her feel special... any help and explaination would really be appreciated. also need to know exactly how to use products like oil...

African american hair help...?

Take her to a salon and watch.

Don't venture into what you don't know. I've never seen coarse hair that was long on any one before. I doubt her hair is as hard as you might think.

African american hair help...?

if you put oil or raw eggs in her hair it decreases the frizz a lot. my friend has the frizziest hair and she puts oil in it and looks like a different person. you can also blowdry with a diffuser for curls also use totally twisted herbal essences and a 1" curling iron or you could use rollers and have her sleep on them.

African american hair help...?

well if you wanna play around with it, my cousin does this ting where she puts lots of frizz serum in and then works by sections wrapping tiny peices of her hair around her finger and waiting a little while so it dries curly and then goes on tiny piece by piece. it makes those tiny ronglet curls that are poofy in a good way. its really cute!

African american hair help...?

Hey, since you just want to do curls, it's simple.

Simply straighten her hair with the iron that you've been using.

Then massage her scalp and hair with some oil, like jojoba, or whatever hair oil that you have. But don't put too much, just enough to moisturize her scalp n hair. and then use the curling iron and curl however you prefere to curl, it's quite simple and it should last a while depedning on how she takes care of it, good luck. and you're a good auntie

Best chi flat iron?

im wanting to buy a chi flat iron because i heard so many good things about it. There are a few different kinds. My hair is long and straight and ill be using it when my hair is dry. So what would be the best chi model to buy and is there anywhere other then internet i can buy them? thanks

Best chi flat iron?

Id say the chi turbo ether 1" or 2"...i have the 1 but since you have longer hair maybe the 2 but there kind of bulky. 1' work better in smaller "tighter" places....around the ears and back of neck. Btw love my chi had it for 3 1/2 years and i use it daily.

Best chi flat iron?

by one tht says Global on it..u can buy it at beauty brands, ulta, ect

Best chi flat iron?

Chi's do not last long.

Hope I helped, Merry Christmas!

Yes, CHI sucks!

I am mixed with black and white.I have been having trouble tryin to find somthing to REALLY streight

i have heard a japenese relaxer and a chi but i need some more options...so can somebody please help me!

I am mixed with black and white.I have been having trouble tryin to find somthing to REALLY streightin hair!?

I had that same trouble.

[I'm mixed with African, English and Middle Eastern]

I thought my straighteners weren't good, but i think my hair wasn't in a good condition.

Because, a few days ago, i put slightly warmed up olive oil in my hair [quite a lot], covered it with a shower cap, and kept it on for over one hour, then i washed it out with shampoo, conditioned it, blow-dried it semi straight [using hair oil, and heat protector] then straightened it.

It's so straight right now, the only other times my hair has stayed this straight is when I've had it straightened at a hair salon.

I'm going to do this once a week now, because not only is my hair really straight, but it's also in better condition than it has been in for a long time.

I recommend at least trying it.

I hope it works for you.

RQ.

I am mixed with black and white.I have been having trouble tryin to find somthing to REALLY streightin hair!?

OMG me too, same probleemm ! right now i have the wigo jade one and it works good but it still takes over an hour to straighten my hairr. soo idk, tell me if you find a good one =]

I am mixed with black and white.I have been having trouble tryin to find somthing to REALLY streightin hair!?

My Hair is Rly curly also!!!

If You use a Little bit...NOT MUCH.. Of HAir Grease It should Help make it a little more coarse like a black girl!!

I am mixed with black and white.I have been having trouble tryin to find somthing to REALLY streightin hair!?

umm if you wnat to use a realxer go to the salon and have it done by a stylist and umm the chi is no good it's no heat control at all and it turned my hair white at the tips thats how bad it turned my hair

I am mixed with black and white.I have been having trouble tryin to find somthing to REALLY streightin hair!?

I wouldn't get a relaxer. It will damage your hair. I have thick curly hair and I use a Nano that I got at Sally's. You want to use a protectant when using heat or your hair will be damaged. Make sure you moisturize too. I use carrot oil and olive oil cream. Also make sure to wrap your hair at night with a satin wrap. This will help keep it straight.

Really Reliable Hair Straightener?

So i have used my Wigo straightener and Its only been a year and something happend with the cord so I have to hold the cord a certain area to get the heat to work and I need a new one. Anyone know a really good one that flattens hair all day? I have heard about the Chi. Anyone have any comments about that?

Really Reliable Hair Straightener?

Hi, I have really thick hair. What i find works really well is the Chi. It's quite expensive, however it works miracles. it's so good, my beautician uses it in the shop, on all kinds of hair. It's really nice.

Really Reliable Hair Straightener?

Really Reliable Hair Straightener?

I just broke my Chi and my mom says she's nott buying another Straightener. Can you reccomend 1 under 75$?

Remington Wet 2 Straight Model #S-8000i

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a...

read the reviews some good and some bad. in a few reviews are girls who used the chi hair straightener too. i actually bought this thing who i am totally satisfied. my hair was shiny and kinda soft before than after using it, it made my hair more shiny and soft. this straightener had a digital setting for different type of hair. not only does this straightener straightens your hair dry but also wet. i recommend that you don't use this while your hair is wet only slightly wet. about $30 .

I just broke my Chi and my mom says she's nott buying another Straightener. Can you reccomend 1 under 75$?

get one at sally buty supply(a ceramic one!)

I just broke my Chi and my mom says she's nott buying another Straightener. Can you reccomend 1 under 75$?

I have so many friends that love their Chi flat irons and most of them have had them brake. So when I went to buy a new flat iron I went to this website called Folica.com and they have tons of really nice ceramic flat irons including the Chi. But the Chi doesn't let you adjust the temperature and sometimes can fry your hair, but the irons on this website are really awesome. They are a bit pricey, but well worth the money. I bought the pink solia 1" and it is so awesome and I have the craziest curly hair. Or you can just go to Sally's if you have one in your city and pick up one of their ceramic flat irons because they are pretty reasonable in price. But look for ones with tourmaline because that is supposed to protect your hair from getting scorched. Hope I helped!

I just broke my Chi and my mom says she's nott buying another Straightener. Can you reccomend 1 under 75$?

you can send your chi off and they will fix it.... maybe. call the 1800 number and see. what ever you do, go ceramic.

What is better Chi or Solia?

I'm orderign a hair straightanair the Solia is 60dollars and the Chi is 90 does it matter or should i buy the Soliea since it's cheaper?

What is better Chi or Solia?

Do NOT get CHI. my family went thru 5 CHI in 3 yrs. Chi breaks within a few months and you have to pay $35 plus shipping to get it fixed.

Yes, CHI sucks!

What is better Chi or Solia?

i've never tried solia but chi is great!! all salons use it.. it's awesome but don't use it everyday because it will damage your hair. even the solia will

What is better Chi or Solia?

Sedu is $80 (for 1 inch) on Folica.com, and I heard it was better then the CHI and the Solia.

What is better Chi or Solia?

Omg, how did you find a Solia for $60!? Lucky / Awesomee. Anyway, I'd say Solia because I'm not impressed with the Chi.

Yes, I never use the Chi on my own hair, but when I get it done they use a Chi and its does not work wonders like people say (although, it does work). I hear that the Solia is much better %26amp; cheaper, but I wouldn't know personally because I never used it.

What is better Chi or Solia?

Solia works great for me. Chi damaged my hair (Chi has no temperature control)

What is better Chi or Solia?

don't get chi. it fried my hair. my friend's chi broke in 4 months.

What is better Chi or Solia?

got my Sedu a few days ago, the best! you should consider sedu.

I have a farouk biosilk flat iron and I have very coarse wavy hair. Which heat setting should I use?

Is the Farouk biosilk flat iron a CHI?

I have a farouk biosilk flat iron and I have very coarse wavy hair. Which heat setting should I use?

If you have Very coarse hair you should use a High setting.

Course hair can take more heat because its thicker than fine hair.

Good luck!

I have a farouk biosilk flat iron and I have very coarse wavy hair. Which heat setting should I use?

Well you should definitely use a high setting but not the highest. NEVER use the highest setting you dont want to burn your hair

I have a farouk biosilk flat iron and I have very coarse wavy hair. Which heat setting should I use?

In order to know what is better for you hair you should test it on ldifferent settings to know that is going to get your hair the way you want it. As long as you put a great hair product in you hair such as Dudley's or and kind of wax used for curling hair before you can use it at a higher setting and it wouldn't be as damaging for the first time you straighten it. However, during the week for touch ups it's better to use a lower setting.

You can find Dudley's products or something similar to it at a local hair store or maybe CVS or Rite-Aid

http://www.dudleyq.com/products/haircare...

I have a farouk biosilk flat iron and I have very coarse wavy hair. Which heat setting should I use?

you shouldn't use the high setting, you don;t want to burn your hair. if you do you should be very careful, find some type of hair protectant to put on your hair that's light, and will protect it from the heat.

What is a good flatiron for thick african american chemically treated hair i dont mind spending alot

is the chi any good? what about the conair infiniti that i already have. I think that it does good i just want something better.

What is a good flatiron for thick african american chemically treated hair i dont mind spending alot of money?

The one and only original chi. They now come in cool colors like blue, green and purple. I have the blue and I must say it works very well!

What is a good flatiron for thick african american chemically treated hair i dont mind spending alot of money?

I'm a hairstylist so i've worked with several irons. Yes, the CHI is a good iron, but it is rather expensive. The best one that I prefer over the CHI is one that is sold in Walmart. It's a Revlon brand. There are a couple different styles, but the one I choose to work with is 1" wide, it's black, and has gold plates. DO make sure it says ceramic on it though. If I remember correctly, it's about 20 bucks, so if it breaks, there's no problem replacing it (take it back and trade it out..walmart takes everything back).

I straighten alot of black hair with it, and it's awesome. Be sure spray on some gloss/shine spray on each individual section before straightening it. It acts as a protector and makes ur hair so soft and shiny. This should keep your hair straight for several days...hope that helps out!!!

What is a good flatiron for thick african american chemically treated hair i dont mind spending alot of money?

SEDU. check out the reviews for diff. irons here. www.folica.com

What's the best flat iron or "straightener" for african american hair?

I need some advice because I'm about to invest in one. I hear ceramic ones are best, and the global beauty 1 inch chi tops them all??

What's the best flat iron or "straightener" for african american hair?

ceramic ones are good and you might need one with a wide range of adjustable temps for different thicknesses and textures of hair

Straightening hair really well! I need help!?

I have a Chi too! An easy trick is to put your hair in sections, like a half pony tail, and straighten it that way. Then, put it in low pigtails and straighten big sections. Thats what I do, and it works well.

Straightening hair really well! I need help!?

How can I get my hair NICELY straightened?

What do you all think I suggest I do to make my hair straight, but NOT flat? I have a Chi straightener that I use but it seems like whenever I straighten it, it gets straight, but it gets flat and volume-less.

So how can I get my hair to be straight AND have some oomph? I don't put any products in my hair before I straighten it...should I? Help please!

How can I get my hair NICELY straightened?

You defffff need products, but remember not to straighten it too much, you realllllly destroy your hair --- trust me. If you do it less, also, you will get it straighter each time you do it. First, put a soft like conditioner thing in your hair. I usually only use 1 product. Use a Wet to Straight iron if you can get your hands on one, there great. Anyway, start in the front and work your way back, and don't hold it on your hair too long, but do nice even, semi-quick strokes with the iron. Repeat if you need to. Then move on..............

Get what I'm sayin sorta??? Hope I helped ;)

How can I get my hair NICELY straightened?

Go to a salon.

How can I get my hair NICELY straightened?

blow dry it with rollers on the top of your head and then straighten, go to a salon and ask them to show you how they do it

How can I get my hair NICELY straightened?

Yes i can relate because i've experienced the same issues with that straightener, perhaps use a volumizing shampoo.

How can I get my hair NICELY straightened?

use the sunsilk anti-flat trio (thats my personal favorite) then blowdry your hair going though it with a round brush its called a blowout enjoy :)

How can I get my hair NICELY straightened?

blow dry it as straight as you cann

and then just go over anything that didnt get straight lightly with a straightener

and use a light volumiving cream or moose after

How can I get my hair NICELY straightened?

ok idk if this works it makes my hair really soft what i do is take a straight iron and a brush brush my hair then staighten it like one after the other do in chunks

i hope this works for ya

How can I get my hair NICELY straightened?

Use a round brush to dry it straight and it will also lift your hair at the roots to give your hair volume. Then go over the ends with a ceramic straightening iron, if needed.

Keeping hair straight after i straighten?

Hello. Here are a few options,

1. Put your hair in a ponytail

2. Use hairspray

3. Use a gel

Keeping hair straight after i straighten?

keep your hair up.

the sweat wont get on your hair and make it wet

so then it wont dry curly

Keeping hair straight after i straighten?

you could put hairspray in your hair.. its probably because of the humidity!

What is the best product to protect hair from thermal straightening (flat iron)?

I use a CHI ceramic straightener everytime I wash, blow-dry my hair, which is about every 2-3 days.

I know straightening is bad for your hair, since if gives you more split-ends and will fry your hair. That's why I want to know if there is a cream, gel, spray, or serum that can protect my hair from the sun (summer is coming up) and my straigtener.

I have straight hair (without using straightener) with my hair sticking outwards due to my father's curly hair genetics. I have dark brown or black and fine hair.

Best answer will need one or more products, your experience with it, the price (you can estimate about), and where you can buy it.

Thanks.

What is the best product to protect hair from thermal straightening (flat iron)?

Good choice for a straightener! I have a chi and love it. I worry about protecting my hair as well. I use a product called Biosilk serum, I get it from my salon. It averages me about $10 dollars it is a cheaper version of the Chi's serum which is more like $15-20, depending on your location. But one bottle can last you a long time because you don't use that much at a time. I am not sure what ur price range is but if your looking more like in walmart, I would go with Tresemme and go for something that works with heat, I have used Tresemme before, it works but I don't like it as much as my Biosilk.

What is the best product to protect hair from thermal straightening (flat iron)?

alalalalalala tresseme ooh la la!

What is the best product to protect hair from thermal straightening (flat iron)?

Chi has a thermal protectant that is better than anything I have used. Its about $18 you can get it at a beauty supply or online at Sephora.

What is the best product to protect hair from thermal straightening (flat iron)?

i have the same type of hair !!!And i have a chi I use this product every day it works it makes my hair less frizzy its makes it softer and easier to staraighten and it protects it! I love it You can get it from beauty salon places like that for about 20 dollars Its called smooth and seal straight sexy hair (its a line of products) hair sexy concepts all i know is that it works and its cheap i love it!

What is the best product to protect hair from thermal straightening (flat iron)?

any thing w/ lost of protein also try this method helped me alot
