Right now have a Conair hair straightener that I bought for $12 about a year ago. I straighten my hair almost every day, and it gets straighter, but it doesn't stay straight all day. All the girls at my school have like really straight hair, and I'm wondering how they do it. First I thought that they spend like hours on their hair every day, but now I'm thinking that they have better hair straighteners. I want to buy a new one, but I don't know what type. I want something that makes your hair very straight, but you only have to straighten it for like 20 minutes--not too long. My hair naturally is kinda straight, but when I just wash it it gets a little wavy and it gets volume. I also don't want to spend a ton of money for like a Chi or something. Can you reccomend any hair straighteners that work VERY good, but aren't extremely expensive (I'm thinking $50 or less). Also, I'm going to the mall today, so are there any places at the mall where they sell hair straighteners?
Hair Straightener Help!!!?
I have my hair straightened chemically and it's not harmful to your hair and i think it cost about $30 and it last for 6 months. I think that you can curl it and just wash your hair and it'll go back to straight
Hair Straightener Help!!!?
at longs they have a "wet to straight straightener"
it works very well you can even straighten your hair when it is still damp without burning your hair.
my cousin has that one sh takes 5 minutes to straighten it. AT THE MOST. lol
i personally spent alot of money on my straightener because it was proven not to burn hair, it curls, has ceramic plates, and such. But it was only 80. That is called the "Herstyler".
wish you luck =]

ceramic hair straightners are the best and make sur eyour hair is dry when you are straightening it I cant tell you how many people do it wet and wonder why its frizzy. Instead of buying another straightner by a gel or palmade that is a straightening aide

Hair Straightener Help!!!?
Maybe instead of going out and buying a new straightener try buying some products first that could help straighten your hair ( if you don't already use them) such as shampoo and conditioner and some type of product specifically for straight hair!! If you already use those then I would recommend getting a gold plated straightener because the plates heat up quicker and find one that has different heat settings, and what i do is right after I get done straightening my hair I have a blow-dryer with a cool temp setting on in and I blow my hair with cold and that will help keep it straight!!
