Hair straightener reccomendations?

I need a flat iron,and I was tihnking about buying a Sedu Ionic Pro ceramic,but I wanna know if there is any other good one's out there besides CHI and Ghd.

As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons, including Sedu, HAI, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss GHD, T3, Kenta etc.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, GHD. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: CHI, HAI, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

I would reccommend a solia. I just bought one from folica and I love it! I have thick, hard to straighten hair, and it works so good. Solia's are the same quality as Sedu, only cheaper. They are better than GHD's and definetly better than Chis. Look up a Solia on folica and check out some of the reviews.

Have you even tried the CHI? It is the best! I have very curly hair and it works miracles. I would recommend you buy it at a beauty store called TradeSecret because they give you a full year warranty as long as you keep the box and receipt. Even if nothing is wrong with it within a year, go in to the store before the year with your Chi, box and receipt and tell them it isn't functioning properly any longer and they will gladly give you a new one with no questions asked. Business is business so like any good business, products are made to break just after the warranty expires and the CHI usually does mess up a little after the year. So far this is the only store that I know has this warranty.

Well make sure you get an expensive one from a beauty store make sure you get a straightener that dry's wet too they are good to have.But really you should asky your local hair salon to see if they recomend anything

Well, I use a Wet 2 Straight, and I love it, but the ceramic plates have began to rust, so that is the only drawback. But, it is the best straightener I have ever used. I don't have the money for anything fancy, and the Wet 2 Straight straightener is the best!
