and how long do they last anyway if i use it every day? my hair is kinda thick and wavy nothing too bad but i love it when its strait and smooth. right now i just have a conair one but i want to upgrade...which one should i get and why?

I swear by Chi and they last for a long time as long as you don't abuse them. Remember to turn them off when your done, keep them clean and don't drop them.
