Which one will be better to get, i have wavy kind puffy hair. I need something that will actually work. If i get the perm straight will my hair stay straight ? Or will it come out after i wash it?
Also, if i get the chi, when i go outside will my hair get puffy and wavy?
Whats better permant straight or Chi straightener?
Never get your hair chemically straightened.
It fries your hair.
A friend of mine did it once, and her hair fell out.
I have a CHI, and it's amazing.
I suggest you buy one, it's worth the money.
%26amp; Theres all types of products that help your hair STAY straight throughout your day. I also reccomend a shampoo and conditioner to help. (Something that help cut down frizzy hair, or helps straight hair.) You can buy all of these things at your local Target, Wal-Mart, or Sally's.
CHI has its own products, but they can get very expensive.

Don't get it permanently straightened!! I made that mistake once.. We wasted $300 and it didn't even work at all. It dried/damaged my hair really bad too. And left it curly... So i would suggest you using a ceramic straightener. :))
Help me?

I have naturally curly hair and it is spiral curls!! I use my chi when I want to straightnen it with Tresemme Heat thearpy spray. I also try to stay away from straightening my hair on humid or rainy days!

Stick with the CHI!
Whats better permant straight or Chi straightener?
If your hair is fragile or fine in texture at all, permanent straightening it will destroy it. I had a stylist that specialized in it look at my hair and she said she would not do it because my hair would be damaged badly. It only works well for the thick, coarser hair (it was originally developed for Asian hair which has thicker strands). You can use a Chi, and it will work well, but eventually it will also cause damage with daily use.
The best way is to find a way to work with your hair's natural texture. My stylist recommended the book "Curly Girl" which also addresses wavy hair. I have stopped using my Chi and have gone curly and like my hair much better now and no more damage. You can get this book on Amazon. For the first time ever, I actually like my own hair.

Your hair will stay straight when done with a chemical straightener. Be careful with the product, I'd have a professional do it. You should only have to get the roots touched up every couple of months or so.
A chi is ionic, meaning it changes (until you wet it) the composition of your hair. Your hair should stay straight. Use a styling protectant before you use it because the Chi is VERY hot.

Either process chemical or heat will be damaging to your hair. It's a matter of what you want and how well you are going to take care of your hair.
Have you considered going to a Dominican Salon to have your hair blown straight? This lasts for quite some time.
If you chose to get your hair relaxed then you will also need to invest in a good moisturizing conditioner and Roux Porosity Control.
Your hair may return to curliness at the roots as your hair starts to grow out and your hair may not get too straight depending on how long the chemical is left on in your hair.
I would suggest you learn some great styles for your curly hair maybe research products aimed at African Americans because they have naturally curly hair. Be certain to use natural products that do not contain a lot of alcohol or petroleum, and or mineral oil.

Or even garnier products.
As for a ceramic straightner, you might want to check out a solia from folica.com. They are less expensive, have a heat controller and do a much better job at straightening hair.
