i have coarse curly hair. it's also very thick and about shoulder length, and i want it to be smooth and shiney and straight! my straightener is really bad, so i want a new one. also, which product should i use for maximum straightest hair? thanks.

i had the same problem. first thing i did was getting a hair cut. they took off alot of weight and now its thin enough to wear straight. the straightner they used was a TIGI hardcore. it worked like magic. my hair has never been that silky or straight. i would go with a TIGI hardcore. i've used CHIs, they are overpriced and don't work as well.
