Is the Chi or the Sedu straightener better?? PLEASE HELP!!!?

I have thick black wavy hair like 3 inches past my shoulders. I finally convinced my mom to buy a straightener and I want to buy a good quality one not a cheap $20 that will mess up my hair. And if you know any products to use with these straighteners please list them and if you know the prices!!!

Please answer these three questions.

1. Which straightener is better? Why?

2. The cost of both of them. (average)

3. Where can you buy them. (NOT EBAY!)

1. definately the SEDU for your type of hair. i have tried both and the SEDU wins for thick hair. the CHI is better on thin hair that isnt very curly or thick. the SEDU also does less damage and makes your hair very silky,shiny,smooth. it may even protect your hair!!

(yes the SEDU is a little more expensive but is worth every penny!)

and you know how the CHI's are the only ones the salons use? wll thats because they are not alowed to use the SEDU's the SEDUs dont let them or something like that.. LOL

I've never used a Sedu, although I looked at them when I bought my Chi. I paid $125 for mine at Trade Secret, and bought the Chi heat protectant for about another $12. I love my Chi and wouldn't trade it for the world!!

1. But out of the two I would say the Sedu because a lot of people say the Chi doesn't work very well and a lot of pro stylists use the Sedu so..

2. The Sedu is more than the Chi, probably around $120 while the Chi is about $100.

1. Everyone that has a great staightener has a CHI. You shouldn't even consider Sedu an option.

2. I'm not sure of the price on a Sedu. But CHI s are about 100 dollares-maybe a bit more.
