I have a Chi straghtener.?

i go to bed with my hair wet, and it dries curly in the moring. But when i try to straighten it, it won't straighten completely. How can i be able to straighten it with out having to blow dry my hair every morning?

A simple solution would be avoiding going to bed with wet hair. So if you can, try to towel dry, or blow dry your hair as much as you can before bed. When you sleep with wet hair, it tends to dry in weird ways due to pressure from the pillow and movement. You could also look for products that help imrpove the straighteneing such as creams, or sprays. Gluck!

urgh i have this problem. blow dry your hair before bed.. its the only way! (but pretty impossible when theres babies in bed so you cant use the bloody hair dryer =|)

If you want it straighter you are going to have to blow dry it. Sorry. But wash and straighten it EVERY DAY? Just wash and straighten it every other day or even less. That's not gross, it's actually healthier for your hair. Just wear a shower cap or take baths.

maybe you should try a new straighter or one that gets hotter, because the one u have no probably doesn't get hot enough for your hair especially if u have thick hair...

blow dry it at night then put into loose braids it would be a little curly but if you brush it it should be good

You need to help your straightener. Blow dry it before you go to bed. Or try to wrap your wet hair around your head so it dries a little more straight. Or put it in a lose braid. and blow dry it with HOT heat in the morning before your straighten. Bottom line you need to do some work to make your hair look good.

make sure your taking really small sections of hair. and using good straightening products. a few of my favorite products are....

Redken- Smooth Down- before you straighten

Redken- Align- while its wet, if before you go to bed while its still wet

Redken- Vinyl Spray for after you straighten it for a little shine but not to much.

I went to beauty school and we used redken product and ive used other but ive always gone back to redken. i have what it seems to be untamable i have a chi. and when my teacher straightened my hair it was beautiful, then i used it myself and it wasnt the same. she taught me smaller sections and the right product.
