T3 and CHI are both good. I use both daily at my shop and never had a problem with either dryer. Hope this helps

I'm a stylist and I love CHI-- all of them come with warranties and as long as you send it in they'll be covered for a while. Also, don't drop it-- that seems to be how most of my clients break theirs, and as they are ceramic plates they will break. If you're afraid you'll be rough on it then buy a tourmaline straightner, GHD is a good one.

either go with the CHI or this newer one called CROC. they both work really well, so it does not really matter wich one. the CROC gets a little bit hotter than a CHI. hopes this helps a little!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

I've read/heard that about the CHI too.

The solia and the Sedu both work very well. I have a Solia, it's perfect for me. It leaves my hair very soft and doesn't make it look damaged at all, there's no snagging and heats up in literaly like two seconds, and it's really easy to use for curling too.

I have a CHI iron that i use to straighten my hair about 3 times a week... I use 2 different heat-protection serums but i dont know if that helps... I can see some split ends but what other damage might I cause my hair if i do this?

wow same with me! i think its fine to do 3 times per week, all i see are split ends so just get a haircut every few months and you should be fine.

your hair will become a little bit weaker from the heat. it sucks out all the moisture from your hair which isnt great for your hair as you know. but a way to help keep it nourished is to put a leave in conditioner in your hair every now %26amp; then. some say once a week. but really you dont HAVe to do it that often. its like giving your hair candy :D

You just need to cut your ends. You might burn your hair, but it depends how you straighten it. It also might get a little nappy. I know girls who do it every single day. Split ends are the cause of dryness, probably caused by the flat iron you say you use 3 times a week. And damaged hair can also have breakage.

Unfortunately, even though using the heat protection serums may protect your hair some and lessen the amount of damage you're doing, it's impossible to not damage your hair when using heat tools. That's just the way it is. I think it's good you're at least trying to protect your hair some, but I just don't think you can avoid damage completely.

Make sure you get a hairspray that is for humidity. CHI Shine Infusion is a really good product to use it help make it shiny, frizzes and protects your hair from thermal heat from irons and dryers. Here's a tip: wash your hair and fix it at night and the next day believe or not it will help to keep your hair from being frizzy from the humidity. Just a thought, hope it helps.

in somewhere like that it is hard to keep your hair straight. it probably wont stay straight no matter what you do so just keep doing what your doing. on extra humid days just curl it then it will look great.

Have you tried the John Frieda line? It gets humid here too. I had a chi I did not like it as much as my Sassoon from target that cost me $29.00! JF has shampoo and other great stuff. I love a mix of the spray %26amp; loitaion.

First of all, use a shampoo that controls frizziness, like Herbal Essences "None of Your Frizziness" shampoo and conditioner (it works really well). When you straighten your hair, DO NOT drench in hair spray, because it's really bad for your hair (it gets all sticky and it'll make your hair fall out). Spray lightly in different areas (especially top of hair) evenly. I recommend John Frieda Frizz-Ease hairspray or John Frieda Secret Weapon straight hair gel. It makes your hair smooth, shiny, and straight, without making it feel like you have a ton of goop on your head.

Paul Mitchell gloss drops.. its what they use in salons and it keeps my hair nice and shiny and soft and not frizzy. and it doesn't get stiff or hard like it does with hairspray.

Get something with a ceramic iron for it doesn't frizz up your hair.

Get a Chi, for I heard those are supposed to be the best hair straighteners. My friend has one. Her hair is naturally almost waist length and wavy. It used to look very frizzy when she straightened. Then she got a Chi and it looks great.

ghd definitely, chi leaves too many flyaways, sedu also great, but ghd is better cause you can feel the tips of your hair feel healthy and not choppy. ghd is best for glossy shiny hair, sedu is better for just shiny hair, but it also leaves hair glossy, but not as good as the ghd.

I let my hair air dry than I spray the Chi Iron Guard, section and flat iron. It probably doesn't help that I live in south florida and its extremely humid right now. My straight hair last 5 min then it starts to frizz out and its ugly. Any tips?
